Journal Entry – Acts 2:45-46

Acts 2:45 “All the believers were together and had everything in common, selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” This is what Jesus was talking about (I think) when He told the parable of how the Kingdom of God is like a hidden treasure – the man sells everything he has to obtain it. These first Christians really believe that the Kingdom of God was so important and valuable that they sold everything in order to be a part of it. Continue reading

I Need You More

One of my first blogs, back in January 2014 (entitle “I Come Alive“) I shared my love for a song by Kari Jobe called “Run To You (I Need You)” and I described the lyrics as “the kind of prayer I want to pray all throughout the day, every day; it’s the kind of prayer that sets the day right – puts things into perspective and helps me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.”

Well I’ve fallen in love with another song with a similar prayer.  This one is off Bethel Music’s album “Here Is Love”, it’s sung by Kim Walker (of Jesus Culture fame) and it’s called “I Need You More.” Continue reading
