When I Think About The Lord

Exodus 34:6 – “(I am) Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”

Isaiah 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Psalm 147:10-11 10 His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

There IS hope in His unfailing love. As we sing these next few songs, you may want to close your eyes and reflect on the love of the Father: How have you felt His love? DO you feel that He is near to you right now? Maybe you’ve been feeling like He’s distant, like you’re all alone? You might need to put your faith in the words of God, and trust that despite how you might feel at the moment, He is The God of compassion and mercy, slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. And if you are already aware of His covenant of peace, then rejoice again that though the mountains be shaken, his covenant of peace will not be removed. Wherever you’re at right now in your relationship with God, let’s enter into His presence together and be reminded of how our Heavenly Father feels about us, and how he delights in those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Unfailing Love

10,000 Reasons

There are 10,000 reasons to praise God, and more. But perhaps the most compelling is Salvation. We were destined for an eternity separated from God because of our sin, but in His infinite grace, he came down and paid the price in our place and took on our punishment of death.

Psalm 68:19-20

19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens.
20 Our God is a God who saves;
from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.
